On Friday Amanda and Dave got married at the National Trust's Gibson Mill in Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge. It's a stunning venue deep in the woodland and set next to the river.
Amanda wanted a macaron tower that reflected the colours of the bunting that she had made to dress the ceremony room as well as flavours that she and her family loved so I created a tower of hazelnut, pistachio, lemon curd and strawberry macarons.
The tower is dressed with flowers from Amanda's ga...rden and were arranged by Amanda and her best friend.
Amanda's wedding was an intimate affair and the macaron wedding cake she chose held 100 macarons. For more information on choosing macarons for your wedding, event or celebration please pop across to www.medicimacarons.co.uk for more information.
Many thanks to Gary at Shutterspot Photography for the lovely images.

Recently I was asked if I would like to be involved in a Dior inspired photo shoot - and as I love a photo shoot I said a resounding 'yes'. The shoot allowed me to create a truly unique wedding macarons tower.

Full details from the shoot are on my blog - please pop over and have a read

All my macarons are handcrafted but what does that actually mean?

As I have been baking for Saturday's wedding I had a thought - what about an afternoon tea selection as a special limited edition gift box for Mother's Day? It would contain: Lady Grey Tea macaron with an orange and lemon filling; Coffee ma...caron; a return of 'The Bakewell' with an almond and raspberry filling; The 'Lemon Meringue' with a lemon curd filling; 'The Victoria' with a vanilla and strawberry filling and finally the 'Blackberry and Elderberry Crumble'. What do you think?
