Nd-YAG High Speed Laser Hair Removal is excellent for the reduction of unwanted hair and ingrown hairs in any area, including underarms, bikini, beard, mustache, face and ears. This treatment must be performed 5 to 8 times for best results: 10-30% regrowth is expected at the end of therapy. Lasers can significantly reduce hair growth, but they cannot stop all hair growth permanently.

Broad band light (BBL) is a non-surgical skin treatment modality that utilizes many wavelengths of light energy to treat skin imperfections. BBL is used to remove age spots, freckles, brown spots, red spots, sun damage and some types of hyperpigmentation. BBL is also very effective for most subtypes of rosacea. In certain skin types, it even removes unwanted hair. Pictured below are just a few examples of skin irregularities that can be corrected with broad band light.

The muscles of facial expression cause wrinkles on the forehead, around the eyes, around the mouth, and on the neck after years of contracting.

Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It is used in very small doses to block certain muscle contractions and spasms. In 2002, the FDA announced the approval of botulinum toxin type A (BOTOX Cosmetic) to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate-to-severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines). Botox is now commonly used to treat wrinkles on the forehead, around the eyes and mouth, and on the neck. BTX-A has also been approved for the treatment of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).

Botox is also used for:

migraine headaches
cervical dystonia (a neuromuscular disorder involving the head and neck)
blepharospasm (involuntary contraction of the eye muscles)
strabismus
axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)
urinary incontinence
anal fissure
spastic disorders related to injury or disease of the central nervous system (trauma, stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy)
focal dystonias affecting the limbs, face, jaw, or vocal cords
temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain disorders
