Have to say - the hype is for a reason here. The food is creative and the drinks are amazing. Went here for brunch and was pleasantly surprised they had so many options for cocktails and even more on the food menu. Everything was super-heavy, which is what I'd expected, but we were compelled to try several different drinks and walk them off at Point Park. The only negative was the wait time despite making a reservation. Plan ahead!

Excellent, watch for "off menu" items like their Brussels sprouts... we ordered only because we saw another table getting them. Despite the name, they don't have a huge assortment of steak.

Great place for date night. The food and drinks are great. The portions are almost too large. The atmosphere is a nice mix of pre-theater yuppies, millennial hipsters and a Pittsburgh-chic singles scene.

Meat and Potatoes is an around excellent restaurant. Food, wine, drinks are all great. Make a reservation in advance, very busy on the weekends. The service staff is well trained and very professional. The interior design of the restaurant is also very clean and inviting. Worth a trip for sure.

I had the "Meat & Potatoes". It is amazing!!!!!!! But it needs great appetite because it is truly lots of meat. It is for two people, and from my opinion, it is for two people who really love eating meat. Not sure about other dishes.

I did not like the service I received at the bar. The waiter was not personable. Sat at the bar for 15 to 20 minutes before even being acknowledged. The bartenders were more interested in the single ladies their phones then waiting on myself and my date. When I was finally served they were still ignored me and were socializing with other bartenders. When my food came I was disappointed with the pork chop. It was too thick which meant is was dry and overcooked. Pork should never be served in that ridiculously large size. There was nothing tender or juicy about it. It just looked good. I will probably not go back but if you go do not order the pork.
