The service department was great. I had dropped off my GTI in the morning for a replacement of a failed waterpump, and was done the same day! I was helped by friendly staff, and even received some compliments on my ride when I had come back. These guys took care of me step by step and Yessenia answered all my questions thoroughly!

Garrett worked with me on the final selection of the car (suv). He was very much to the point on saving dollars by describing options and features. This was my first purchase without driving a car prior to selection.

The absolute worse car dealership in the world!!! My car has had nothing but problems since I got it six months ago!!! I have been in a loaner car more times than my own new car!! The staff has horrible customer service and the service station people have no clue what they are talking about! I had electrical problems with the car and it kept shutting off when i would stop at a light, the service station guy asked me if I drive with two feet (um sir what the hell does that matter) One service station guy told me to put my car in neutral every time that I stop at a light because its better on my car, oh yeah sure until the trany blows. Never buy a car from here! A new car is supposed to be such a great experience but for me it was the worse thing ever. I would rather have my 90 saturn back than ever deal with this shit again. They suck!!!

Garrett was very helpful when I went to mckenna vw in cerritos. When I went in I wasn't sure what car I really wanted (I couldnt decide between a Touareg or a Tiguan), but garrett helped me make a great decision. He helped me purchase the tiguan out the door at the price I wanted. I was out the door the same day with the exact car i was looking for! Thanks!

I bought my Volkswagen passat here last year. This is the 2nd time I come for an oil change. Long story short. . I showed up at 11am but the person who received us told us that everyone was about to take lunch and wouldn't return till 1pm. Well I left and came back promptly at 1pm and dropped off car. I come back at 230pm to find out the keys had been put away and car had not been serviced. I never got an apology or the man never showed remorse. All he said was "there was some miscommunication" and walked away. He came back and said it'd be another hour. So total I have been waiting now 2.5hrs and still no car. Im disappointed. It is 3:30pm and yet to see my car.

stay away from there service department Rebecca may disrespect you she just don't care... its a long story but to cut it short she was too lazy to make a phone call to verify insurance.. "abc customer service" the sad part is i purchased 6 cars from them

NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE!!! THEY KEPT MY CAR FOR 4 DAYS TO DO AN OIL CHANGE. Details below. I bought a 2007 Jetta from McKenna in Norwalk in 2006. Since I liked their customer service I decided to make it my service location of choice. Sure, the oil change prices were high, but I trusted these people. However, this changed as soon as the McKenna service department moved to Cerritos. From the first visit to my last (03-19-12) I didn't like the customer service, but since I didn't have another mechanic or location for service I stayed with them. They never call to give updates on the status of the repairs or oil changes. The staff is not very friendly, and the location is just plain and ugly. However, the prices are not cheap at all. And they will try to sell a bunch of unnecessary service that they hardly explain. The worst experience has been this weekend. On Friday, I took in my car for a simple oil change, but I also requested an additional inspection (car was doing some weird chugging while driving). The service advisor told me he would get this done by Friday. It didn't happen. I waited til around 4pm to call and see what was going on with my car. David (the service advisor) told me they couldn't figure out the problem so they would keep it until Saturday. I agreed and I was promised a call by noon the next day. Again, they failed to call me. I called at 1pm, and my car was not ready. He calls me 2 or 3 hours later to tell me that the throttle body had been replaced, but that they had to reset the system and the computer wasn't reading it or whatever. So, unfortunately my car wouldn't be ready until Monday. Monday...it's 1pm...no call...I call again, and David is not in. Someone tells me that the tech is out to lunch, and they will call me within an hour to give me an update on my car. An hour late, still no call. I call them and I'm told that they are still working on my car; they will call me in an hour. No call. I call again and yay! they say my car is ready....NO YAY...they tell me they never found out what the issue was with my car. They couldn't identify the problem...so I guess David just made up the throttle body. Now, I'm upset. I decide to go pick up my car, but I must speak to the manager. He apologizes, but he doesn't know what's going because David, the service advisor, is not in. The manager's solution: Do the EXTENDED ROAD TEST....This meant leave your car with us again, and my tech will drive your car for 60 miles to figure out the problem and only at the cost $125, but this doesn't include the repairs of anything. That was his BRILLIANT solution. I walked out and I decided I will be contacting corporate to inform them about the awesome service their Cerritos Branch is providing. IF YOU VALUE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INTELLIGENCE PLEASE DO AVOID THIS PLACE!
