Well done, Bengaluru, for coming out and saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,#steelflyoverbeda, in a human chain representing different sections of society (cutting across class, caste, creed, gender, age, location and pretty much everything else) and extending over two kilometres from Basaveshwara Circle to Mekhri Circle. 👍👌👏
NB I'm informed that the distance between the two points is 4.9 kms - which makes today's event even more amazing and encouraging: enough bodies to cover nearly 5 kms is awesome! Estimates of the turnout range from 5000 to 9000; even the lowest guesstimate is unprecedented, especially for an event focusing on urban infrastructure and governance.
It remains to be seen whether the Government of Karnataka remembers that it owes its existence to the people and is duty bound to listen to the people and act in their best interests.http://www.thenewsminute.com/article/pictures-bengalureans-form-human-chain-protest-massive-steel-flyover-51460
