Look at the verge article http://www.theverge.com/2016/1/20/10797268/googles-new-algorithm-chrome-run-faster as well as all the media talking about Brotli. Not even a mention saying that it'll happen only on https. They just say Chrome will be 25% faster for the web. No one tried to clarify it. It's misinformation. I'm not saying it's your fault (probably journalists not doing their job) but it's a problem.
