As a French Canadian, proud to hear them. I understand everything they are saying and it shows that it's their native language and not something learned later in life. Lâche pas la patate! :P

Wow.... just found my new playlist to work. Fully instrumental. No voice. Pure metal. Love it.

Chrome 41 shipped with several optimizations to make the visual experience of loading sites faster (Speed Index, Start Render, etc).  The most impactful of the changes was to have the main parser conditionally let pending paints and layouts happen before going into execute a script.

In practice this means that before running scripts at the end of a page it will do the layout and paint for whatever it has built up so far (assuming it is not waiting for css).  It doesn't change the classic technical metrics (Page Load Time, DOM Content Loaded, etc) but it can have a huge benefit to more visual-based metrics, particularly first paint/start render and Speed Index (and more importantly, on when users can see progress and start consuming the page content).

A nice side-effect is that it also improves performance for things like custom fonts and prioritization of above-the-fold resources, both of which depend on layout and styles being applied before they can be discovered by Chrome.

Here are some sample filmstrips with before/after comparisons demonstrating the impact (you may need to zoom in on some of the longer filmstrips to see them).

As always, your mileage may vary and not all sites will see the same magnitude of improvement (if any).

Amazing selection of products. The staff is very friendly and very informed. Highly recommend shopping there.

Beside the bimbo waitress, the food is excellent and the beer taste awesome! Going there with the Untappd application is a must for a great selection of beer. If you are staying at the Novotel right beside, this is definitely a must. I was there on a Monday which means that the restaurant was empty. The service was good. Otherwise? I recommend. I would need to try it out on a more busy night.

First, I'll start by saying that the food and presentation is amazing. For what we tasted, the fish was fresh, the rice cooked perfectly and, so far, nobody's sick. As for the presentation itself, it was beautifully presented from what we saw on our and other's table. As for the service, the waiters were fast to dispatch water and pickup dirty plates. But here comes the ugly part.... and the reason for the one star. We had 1 starter, 2 specialties and a set of 24 varied sushis (total count). We were there for 2h15m. We were unable to get those 24 varied sushis. It took 30 minutes to get the starter and another 45 minutes to get one specialty and another 45 minutes to get the other one. We warned the manager by the 1h50m mark complaining that it was very long. As she tried to explain how the kitchen worked, we gave ourselves another 15 minutes to get our remaining sushis or just leave. By the 2h15m, we just walked up and paid our bill without a word from the manager. As far as I could see, the kitchen was a mess with a lot of plates ready to go but no waiter to deliver them anywhere. In any case, poor kitchen management leading to VERY VERY long delay and one pissed off couple. We will not go back and will not recommend it to anyone. Thank you,

I booked there because I didn't want to take a cab from Bellevue in the morning for an early flight. It's the kind of hotel where you only book one night. Cheap and free reasonable WiFi.

Generous portion, very courteous and fun staff. It's not always the same waiter that is going to pick your plate or bring you a refill. They all share the jobs and it makes the service even faster than at other restaurant. Plates were going out of the kitchen fast and the meat was cooked perfectly. The only downside was the other patrons who were loud but you can't blame the restaurant for that. It was my first visit and I'll be coming back.

The food is good. The price a bit above average. I've stopped ordering from there after my order was screwed up on many occasion or just arriving very late. So if you order out from there, ensure to check your order before the delivery man leave and order ahead of time. Otherwise, nice restaurant for delivery.

Noisy as hell. Rules are not enforced most of the time. Whether you are in the spa or in the relaxation zone, people are talking and the staff just doesn't care.
