I'm curious to start playing around with snappy.. Looks interesting, but hopefully this does but mean Ubuntu will break its ties to Debian..

A snappy tour of Ubuntu Core! Let's see how it feels to get things done the Snappy way. You need to be logged in to your Ubuntu Core instance to try these commands, they won't work on a traditional apt-get or deb-based Ubuntu system! We'll start by checking which version of Ubuntu Core we're on.

Very interesting article, apparently the measles are one of the few things that can make your immune system forget immunity against certain diseases.
When the U.S. introduced the measles vaccine, childhood deaths from all infections plummeted. Scientists think they might know why: Benefits of the measles vaccine go way beyond the measles.

Sweet! Time to buy more pie

Price cut: now you can get your hands on a Raspberry Pi Model B+ for only $25!
When we announced the Raspberry Pi 2 back in February, we said that we’d continue to support its predecessor, the Raspberry Pi Model B+. Since then, we’ve sold well over a million units of Raspberry Pi 2, but Model B+ has also continued to sell very well, despite also costing $35. A side effect of …

Great article talking about SpaceX's push for building cheap and reliable rockets!
Musk's obsession with cost cutting and in-house manufacturing at times seems ludicrous.

Did you miss today's SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch carrying a Dragon cargo spacecraft to the International Space Station? Want to see it again? Watch it now.

The Dragon spacecraft is on its own in orbit and operating with its arrays deployed as planned. Next stop, the space station where astronauts will use the station’s 57.7-foot robotic arm to reach out and capture it as they operate from the station’s cupola. Arrival is set for Friday at 7 a.m. EDT.
