If Walgreens wants to give out gift cards for picking up report cards, go for it. That's their call. But I feel like a parent who's lured in by the gift card who otherwise wouldn't bother picking up their kid's report card might have a few gaps in parenting commitment that $25 at Walgreens may not fill.
Some Chicago schools are offering $25 Walgreens gift cards to parents who pick up their child's report cards. Is it an innovative way to get parents more involved in their child's education, or is it just an insult?
