    As a member of the demand planning group, I was responsible for supporting the Abbott Nutrition Pediatric S&OP process. This includes the coordination of a consensus forecast, an understanding of new product introductions, and a thorough knowledge of current supply issues which might prevent the business unit from meeting its stated demand objectives. I interact on a continual basis with numerous departments including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. Develop customer item level forecast to support the S&OP process: - Gathering inputs from retail sales counterparts on a regular basis and facilitate monthly customer forecast review meetings. - Challenge assumptions to assure the most accurate forecast is developed. Incorporate product trends into forecast models and monthly forecast updates. -Applies SAP/APO statistical modeling for analysis and forecasting. -Support monthly financial projections, leveraging S&OP as starting point and adjusting for specific ordering patterns or assumption changes. -Participates in identifying root cause of error to ensure continuous improvement. -Communicate and document all pertinent information relative to the S&OP process. -Facilitate S&OP meetings to represent the customer forecast to brand and management teams. -Ensures new innovation and promotional assumptions are appropriately incorporated into customer level forecast. -Supply root cause analysis for forecast error/bias

    Responsible for managing the production planning function of asset scheduling at multiple plants to minimize cost to ANSC, maximize efficiency of the network’s asset base, and maximize in stock of product for all customers. -Reduced the 2011 Plan DOH by 2 days to achieve the 2011 LRP Goal. Created a Powder Review Packet to explain production plan changes from the Update to the Plan, loadings by dryer, volume assumptions, and downtime assumptions. Reviewed the packet with the plant controllers and division Supply Chain finance biannually. - Created a Powder Volume report to validate the SAP APO powder weekly optimizer solves. The report is currently being used to ensure each SKU is being planned to the correct safety stock level and total powder production is in line with total powder demand. - During the Pediatric Brand Redesign I created a report to identify, by batch, old label inventory and DOH by distribution site. This allowed deployment to move old label inventory into high velocity sites to speed transition into the new media. - Worked with BEx group to perform an extensive review of each powder SKU’s appropriate safety stock level. - Lowered inventory levels and maintained them without impacting customer service. This achieved a savings of $9MM in 2010. -Worked to develop a usable SAP APO solve for the powder operations. Both the SAP APO system and the legacy AMAPS system needed reconfigured.
