Feature Request for +Google for Work : Please could you add a feature to extend the TLS padlock functionality in +Google+Gmail to actively blocking emails being sent over an unencrypted connection.

This would allow the setting of a senders email address or domain name, and/or a recipients alias email address or domain name in Google Apps Admin and/or Gmail to ensure all incoming email connections to/from them are encrypted before allowing the remote SMTP server to send the DATA section of the email.

This feature would be like extending Gmail Filters to work on MAIL FROM and RCPT TO information, before the Google SMTP servers accept to receive the email content. Only the HELO, MAIL FROM, and RCPT TO are potentially transmitted in plain text, and importantly, not the actual email content.

It would be possible to allow users and/or Admins to report on what emails have been blocked, at least who from and to as we would know these details.

This would help improve privacy as companies will improve their email sending servers or stop sending personal information via email.

On Google Apps for Work, a secondary domain name and email address could be configured so that all emails being received on that domain are always received via an encrypted connection. Good for where security is essential.
