Interesting comScore article going over smartphone adoption history, related to iPhone since it came out 5 years ago....apparently, some people are still using iPhone 1, who knew? The future of the web is mobile: http://blog.comscore.com/2012/06/5_years_later_a_look_back_at_the_rise_of_the_iphone.html

Sometimes the best advice is the simplest advice. On a side note, I am going to begin going through Game of Thrones withdrawal within days

Excellent article about the New Bing SERPs. Hey, at least they're still trying and that's good for everyone. I might actually try it out this time...seems they're trying to capitalize on what people are complaining about with Google's social integrations

good ol' Ron Paul: "his presidential runs have always been about forcing other candidates, and the public, to pay attention to his libertarian arguments for eliminating most taxes, closing federal agencies, bringing U.S. troops home from overseas, legalizing drugs, outlawing official secrecy, dismantling the Fed, returning to the gold standard, and generally getting the government to get out of the way."

I don't know how people can't get on board with that...the government is too big, #1 problem

Pretty cool video on how McDonald's Hamburgers look different on a poster versus what you actually get in the restaurant: Behind the scenes at a McDonald's photo shoot The funniest part might be how hilariously butchered the sub-titles are...I guess YouTube can't understand Canadian accents?

hah - they didn't change the ingredients, at least.  I remember when Campbell's Soup got in trouble for putting marbles in the bottom of the bowl so that the veggies would be visible at the surface.  This was ruled illegal because marbles are not included when you buy a can of soup.

Pretty cool story...that food does look terrible. Just looking at a school lunch tray puts a bad taste in my mouth

Why was the Internet created?

This formula would've never worked in a world without the web...

Young Girl + Internet + School Food Photos = Instant ban by Scottish school authorities = Social media firestorm = Embarrassment for Government = Better food for students!!

Martha Payne is a little girl who took pictures of her school food and gave her own ratings, for the food below...

Food-o-meter- 4/10
Mouthfuls- 33
Courses- main/dessert
Health Rating- 5/10
Price- £2
Pieces of hair- 0

The ban has now been revoked (of course!) and I just love Martha's initiative, imagination and deep love to make the world a little better.

Whoa....Google Knowledge Graph. Fits in with all the trends involving Google+, Authorship and how these impact search results. Gonna show up in search results as much as Google Maps....that's huge: http://mashable.com/2012/05/16/google-knowledge-graph/
Google has introduced the "Knowledge Graph" — or semantic analysis — to its most fundamental tool, search. Here's what that means.

This idea of different nodes of information, with the same name, meaning different things is fascinating. Does Google track click traffic to connect over time one Jets with football and another Jets with Boeing? Is the search engine term for this "clustering"?
