Watching these videos sure makes me glad I'm American. Militarily, we're untouchable.

This guy was the best I've seen on Conan in awhile. Would definitely go see his standup.

She's flat out wrong on the human shields -- Amnesty International has already confirmed the fact Hamas uses civilians as human shields multiple times, like in the following statement:

"In previous conflicts Amnesty International has documented that Palestinian armed groups have stored munitions in and fired indiscriminate rockets from residential areas in the Gaza Strip in violation of international humanitarian law. Reports have also emerged during the current conflict of Hamas urging residents to ignore Israeli warnings to evacuate."

Also, RT is pretty well-known propaganda machine for the anti-American Russian government. I thought everyone knew this. RT = Russia Today. I would trust anything out of Russia Today about as much as I'd trust Fox News. Might as well invite Sean Hannity next week on the podcast to give a balanced view on the situation as well.

+Matthew Orndoff why does hamas exist? bc they are a manifestation of 65 years of illegal occupation and subjugation. Even if Hamas fires their fire crackers from the vicinity of a civilian area does that justify Israel bombing the entire area?? This is an army that brags about its precision weaponry yet here they are blowing up 4 innocent children playing on a beach and multiple UN schools sheltering innocent civilians, AFTER being warned not to do so by the UN. If you're anti-bullshit as you say, please stop spewing it.

For anyone really interested in this topic, Dan Carlin's Hardcore History podcast has a FANTASTIC series on World War I he's working through right now.

If ever there was an episode where we needed someone fact-checking on Google every statement made by a guest on JRE, this would be that episode.

It was a script, not a computer. The difference being with a script there is no intelligence required on any level beyond telling the computer, "OK, if you get a response like this, send THIS kind of message back." Furthermore they cheated because they told the judges the "boy" was a Ukranian kid learning English as a second language to explain away the odd responses. This has been done before with higher success rates. The guy who is behind this, Warwick, pulls this kind of media stunt every now and then, which mindless reporters repeat without a hint of fact checking. So yeah, we've got a few more years until Botnet.

Should just be called Little Burger. Or maybe Little is meant to mean the burger and Big is meant to mean the price. I don't understand how this place exists. Sure, the burgers are great, but that doesn't mean much when they're gone in literally 3 bites. Maybe it's supposed to be some kind of joke. Well, the joke's on you if you expect to leave here filled without shelling out more than $10. On the upside, the workers are usually friendly enough.

I bought a used car from them last week. It was my first time buying from a dealership and I was a little apprehensive. Fortunately this was to be one of the most positive and simple car buying experiences I had ever had. There was no high pressure to buy whatsoever, at least from the sales rep that helped me, Josh, and honestly I couldn't be happier now with my purchase. What really impressed me was that after I had left the dealership, I received a phone call from Power. Apparently they had kept checking around to see if they could find me a better financing rate, and they had actually succeeded in finding me one SUBSTANTIALLY better so they needed me to come back down and sign a few papers. That was really cool of them. They didn't have to do it, but I'm going to end up saving a lot of money as a result. Even though I live in Portland now I'll be making sure to come down to Power to buy my next car. I was this pleased.

Currently a little biased because I work here, but even before that I recognized the Good Bean to be one of the best cafes in the Valley. You'll be hard pressed to find a better cappuccino anywhere else.
