Gotcha.  Well I will think of 50 words or less for an idea and see if they ask for my $1500 perhaps :).  Have a great Friday.  Thanks for your help on the Chrome OS stuff.  Looking forward to seeing a Pixel in real life.

It was a real privilege to hear a visionary CIO speak this week.  He has done some extraordinary things within his organization, but one thing that really impresses me is that there is a significant component of ethics in his business dealings.  I like this trend.

My friend Glen has this RuskinArc project you should check out.  It's really cool.  I just need to persuade him to put in on Google Cloud Services...  :p

For all you GIS and ArcMap aficionados out there, I've recently heard about RuskinArc, a new tool specifically tailored to live mapping historic properties. All of the basics of the software (how it w...

A great event for a great cause.  This is hosted by a friend of mine at work, and I know it's going to be a wonderful time.  There are some amazing things happening in CFF research right now, so this also represents the unique opportunity to be a part of this during a time when a cure is at hand.

Are you still online?  You'll have to let me know sometime when you are online and have a few minutes.

From the Wall Street Journal: "In a May report, Gartner said Google is winning one-third to half of new corporate users that are paying for Web-based software. In 2009, Gartner predicted that Microsoft by now would be outselling Google Apps by at least 4 to 1."

I believe these numbers are MUCH more swayed in Google's favor for companies that give us a serious look.  There is much more to this story IMHO, and after attending an Enterprise Google meeting recently, I'm very proud and excited to see how Google is going to continue to surpass Gartner's wildest expectations.

I found this little Android computer about the size of a large jump drive.  Comes with the HDMI cable for $74 only.  Took me about 3 minutes to get it up and running.  I would buy a dozen of these rght now, but I need a good, cheap option to plug them into for display, and there is a good $49 version and a good $29 version coming out soon.

Yeah, the mish mash isn't my preference for the reasons you mention.  But it's all on a shoestring budget (my wallet) right now.  I vacillate between thinking it would just be good to launch my little idea (for better or worse) or wait until I can get everything in place the way I want it.  It would be a very slick operation with Chromebooks.  I'm working with the big G to see, we'll see what happens, in the meantime, I'm exploring my options.
