An important fact to know about Israel is that they loved raisin cakes!

Introduction
I'm a Christian and write the blog matthewjbryant.blogspot.com where I like to ask difficult questions of doctrine. I love to connect with readers so feel free to add me on TwitterFacebook, or Google+.

I'm happily married and live with my wife near Bromsgrove, UK, and currently study theology at Spurgeons College, London (online). I graduated from Swansea University with a degree in mathematics before becoming passionate for theology. I believe that everyone's views should be respected and no single opinion perfectly captures the Divine.

A super-fast service, great tasting food, at a fair price. As will most Chinese take aways in the UK the is a disappointing overuse of thickening agents, but nearly all the meals on the menu are quality. Best Chinese in the area.

Second to the Queen's Head in Bromsgrove. The food here is well priced and full of flavour, but the catch is that it is usually busy and the service can be slow.

If you're looking for a well presented eatery, with flavoursome food you won't be disappointed with this inviting pub. You'll have to book a week in advance generally because it is so popular at the moment, but the service is great and there's loads of variety. It's one of the most expensive places to eat out in the area, but well worth it if you're looking for something a bit special.

Spices is a very nice curry house with great service. All the classic English curries are served with very little embellishment (so you know what you're getting), but of you fancy a change they have some wonderful curries that you won't find in many other restaurants. A must if you want a curry in Catshill.

The first thing you'll not come about this place is the small menu, which is a good sign! Nice fresh food. The meals are well priced, but so full of flavour you'll be surprised. Every aspect of this eatery is well thought out, right down to the beautiful decor. Highly recommended.

The blandest curry in Bromsgrove. We had a take away delivered, but wish it never came. There wasn't much meat to speak of and the curries tasted strange and bland. All the 5 star reviews are from years ago so maybe there's been a change in management or something.

A really disappointing evening. This restaurant is under-staffed and over-priced (by about 50%). We were waiting for 30 mins for starters and then after finishing them we were left to wait 50 mins for our mains. While that alone is unacceptable the food that came was bland and I imaginative. I expected a lot more for the price.
