EDITORIAL: Spaniards are dissatisfied with 100% of the current government in an economic situation 90% of them see as ‘bad’ or ‘very bad’. They deserve alternatives that are unlikely to exist.

European elections will be held on May 25 in Spain and will be the first real test for Mr. Rajoy’s government and Spanish political parties since the Popular Party won an absolute majority in both houses of the Spanish parliament with 44.6% of the vote in the November 2011 general election.

Here's one for you. The title (via Google Translate) says:

"Column Kharkiv Ukrainian Tanks-Strelechya (Strіlecha) towards the border with Russia"

This would imply the Ukranians are moving armour towards the border.

Note they're moving by themselves, and not on tank transporters, as the Russian ones have been doing towards Ukraine up to now. This means either the car drove into the middle of  tank exercise or the Ukranians are actually deploying their tanks in Eastern Ukraine in preparation for a fight with the Russian ones being transported the other way.

Thank you, +Gibran Ashraf and +Joe Galvin. What is a reverse search? If I search YouTube for the title of that video and 'Sort by upload date', this appears to be the first to have been uploaded. Is there a way of searching for the video itself as opposed to the title? Do videos have hidden data somewhere like images sometimes do?

Here's one for you that isn't about war or accidents…just some Spanish kids playing at invading Gibraltar and shooting its residents…initially reported as a 'school play' in Zaragoza, Spain, but then the guy that uploaded it to YouTube took it down (too late) and tried to cry it wasn't Zaragoza but a village called Valsalada and not a school play but village festivities.

Outrage has quickly ensued in the UK press, the Spanish papers have jumped in and gone with what the UK press had initially said, and seems like only a couple of journos/bloggers have currently delved a bit deeper to be more precise.

Not sure if the school/village, Zaragoza/Valsalada distinctions change the story though, although if it's not a school it's probably wrong to display it as a case of indoctrinating Spanish youths.

We must have independent media—free from corporate and political influence—and trying to distract you with advertising is of no real value to anyone.

The first of the interviews from the Santiago trip:

"We all went pale, silent, we didn’t react for a few seconds, it wasn’t normal. You imagine the worst, when they ask for all units. Then after a short while we saw the smoke and a huge blaze."
INTERVIEW: Miguel Ángel Arca Bello is a professional firefighter in the city of Santiago de Compostela and was driving one of the first fire trucks to arrive at the scene of the train crash.

Obviously the first two, but if we tell those readers about new stories they haven't learned from yet, they will get interested in those new stories... probably.

Is the author backtracking? If he now thinks it 'reprehensible' why did he add the music?
