Portal Title: Imber War Memorial
City, Region and Country: Imber, England, UK.
Lat/Long: 51.235273,-2.050994
Ingress Intel Link: https://www.ingress.com/intel?ll=51.235273,-2.050994&z=17&pll=51.235273,-2.050994

Reason/comments: Imber War Memorial lists the dead of the village from WWI.

The village is open to the public up to 50 days per year (http://www.imberchurch.org.uk/events.html), although generally less. It's one of the great Ingress battlegrounds in the UK, being in a signal blackspot and extremely limited access. It's part of Ingress history, even making a reference in The Guardian as "a remote portal in a section of the English countryside that is inaccessible for most of the year".

https://plus.google.com/u/0/+EnlightenedUK/posts/RExwUJPx37u Reason/comments: Imber Court is one of the few remaining original buildings left within the requisitioned village of Imber. It's the old Manor House, and has been there since the 17th Century (http://www.wiltshiretimes.co.uk/wtcommunity/memory/downmemorylane/8905095.Then_and_Now_-_Imber_Court__Imber/).

Ingress Intel Link: https://ingress.com/intel?ll=51.23866,-2.053735&z=15 Reason/comments: The plaque is in the village to commemorate the sacrifice made by the villagers when it was requisitioned during WWII (http://www.imbervillage.co.uk/imber-then.html) and never returned.

Terrible, terrible news from Ireland.
Guys, some sad and unfortunate news. It is with a heavy and broken heart that I have to tell you that a fellow Irish agent, Frank Maxwell aka Reviresco has passed away. Once arrangements have been made I or someone else will post here and let you know.

Google's doing 1:1 matching on donations up to £10m and covering everything in terms of processing fees, so you can double your donation and not have anything get deducted for the cost of it getting to the charities involved.

Evening All.

Rumours of a Smurf Op copying GreenMarble over the weekend. So, you know, keep an eye out for odd clearances, people in weird places and stuff like that. That'd be grand.

RIP Sir Nicholas Winton. Always seem to have something in my eye when I watch this.
