Hey, everyone! I'm hoping that someone might be able to help me fix a friend's 2011 MacBook Pro. We're both serving abroad in Botswana so our only hope for solving technical issues lies in our ability to find the right resources online.

Generally speaking, the MBP is a nightmare. It runs very slow, takes about 2 minutes to boot up, pinwheel constantly, and it's far clitchier than any other Mac I've used. She has plenty of free space on her computer so it's not a storage issue.

My friend is not a friend of technology and I feel terrible that she's having such a lousy experience with her Mac. I'm merely an enthusiast so my abilities are very limited. Because of my shortcomings the only thing I can think to do is to backup everything and restore her computer (wipe it). Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thank you so much, +Pedro Lobo and +Lars E.! I'm hoping to visit her this weekend and will update you all on what I find out. I can't overstate how grateful I am to have the MPU audience helping me with this. It's unsurprising because this group has always been so incredibly giving, but thank you thank you!

I'm so honored to be able to work with such incredibly inspiring people and to be a part of their #leadership growth. Woohoo!

Staff continue to guide students along their leadership journey! Using snowflakes to illustrate the beauty of the individual, students are also learning about the power that comes from individuals working together: #synergy!

I remember when my 11th grade history teacher encouraged me not to give up, that there was still time to grow into who I wanted to be. I have never forgotten that day. The power of positive role models, from those who offer support and mentorship, is very real. This relationship is a key component to the success of LEEP. Please join me in supporting LEEP so that students in Dukwi can feel the love of those who care so much about them!

It's official! We've launched our campaign to continue LEEP in the Dukwi refugee camp in 2015. So many of you have supported me and the program over the last year, and I hope that you'll considering continuing to do so. Thank you so much for all the love and encouragement you've offered. Let's make sure we keep LEEP in 2015!

I believe that we all step onto our #yoga  mats for some level of healing, whether we understand it or not. But these stories from +Yoga Journal illustrate the true power of yoga practice.

I'm so proud and honored to work with such an inspiring team in the Dukwi #refugee camp in #Botswana! If you'd like to learn more about what we're doing to nurture effective leadership and personal growth, definitely check out our next update.

Later this week we're sending out a #LEEP update, which includes a wonderful letter by Jack valuing the changes he's seen within himself as a LEEP staff member. If you haven't signed-up for updates, it's super easy (http://goo.gl/8XwENb) or +1 this post & we'll message you a direct link to the letter once it's out. As always, thanks for your support!

LEEP students excelled this year because of the one-on-one support they received from their tutor, ensuring that their individual needs were both recognized and met. Together, let's make sure that students next year are able to receive the same level of care. Support LEEP 2015!

Sorry if this is a bit nerdy, but I'm proud to share that I recently participated in the Art of Leadership training through the Rockwood Leadership Institute. I'm also deeply grateful for +Scottie's Place and its supporters who made this opportunity possible. Yay!

Hey everyone! We're sorry that we've been so quiet lately, but know that we've been busy this past month in preparation for next year's programs! We have some exciting updates releasing soon including big advancements with our website, LEEP 2015, and more ways in which you can get involved. We're also proud to share that Matt recently completed the Art of Leadership Training through the Rockwood Leadership Institute. Those new skills will greatly enrich the LEEP curriculum. Thanks to you all for your continued support!

I've now had the pleasure of booking with AirTreks for two international trips. Each experience has been fantastic: their staff is responsive, kind, and helpful; their emails are descriptive, thoughtful, and relevant; and their research is quick and thorough. Will continue to return to them for future travel.
