I tried out Google Drive over the weekend, and despite it's new low prices ($24/yr for 100gb), it still can't beat Dropbox for at least 3 reasons.
1. No LAN Sync. I uploaded files using my laptop, then when trying to sync my desktop, they downloaded from the web, and it took forever.
2. No Subfolder sync. You can only sync top-level folders, so you don't have much control over which files you sync to which computer.
3. Photo Backup is half-baked. Google will backup your phone's photos to G+ and count it against your drive space, but your image files are nowhere to be found in Drive.
The difference is that Dropbox feels very much like a part of your local machine, while Drive feels like my files live elsewhere. #googledrive #dropbox
