We all need moments of reflection to get some perspective every now and then. Take a moment to remember firefighter, loving husband, and father, Shannon Stone.

This month marks five years since the Shannon Stone tragedy. We reflect on the story and resolve to make the most of our time with our kids.

+David Kepley makes the case for more businesses to offer paternity leave, "Every business owner should take time to consider what paternal leave means to not only a father, but the mother and your business."

With more and more discussion and debate about Paternity Leave over the past year, David lends his voice into the mix with a strong message in favor.

I think we can all identify with these (even if we won't admit it)

Among my many reasons to have kids that didn't quite pan out as planned was to get a tax break. I live in NYC. There are no tax breaks here.

Everyone writes these stories about the things about fatherhood that surprised them. But there are many no-brainers about fatherhood we should relish.

A question that often comes up in our New Dad Boot Camps: how do we prepare our dog for the arrival of our new baby? +Creed Anthony has the answer!

Thoughtful questions from a dad wondering whether he is preparing his daughters with the financial skills they need to succeed.

Dad of daughters ponders the ethics -- and potential financial sexism -- of his children's lemonade stands, charity and gender bias.

LOVE this post, "But the real strength of fatherhood, and of superheroes for that matter, comes from caring. Understanding this has helped me understand superheroes better, my father better, and maybe even to a better understanding of myself."

Thanks to +Dove Men +Care for partnering with us to bring these great voices to light.

Dove Men+Care partners with us to recall a dad's superhero moment when he saved his son from bullies. And how that son now gets the power of fatherhood.

Thoughful post, "Ironically, while I’ve long known that parenting is a tough job, it took this stint as a stay-at-home dad for it to really start feeling like a job. And that feeling is something that I, perhaps selfishly, wanted gone."

#parenting   #parents   #parenthood   #fatherhood   #citydads
Being a stay-at-home dad was exhausting and rewarding and challenging and fun. And often overwhelming. I’m not going to lie: I prefer being back at work.
