Yawn.  Same product.  Just rearranged the buttons to justify training dollars.  Nothing to see here.  Move along.

West Coast Bureau Chief, Business Insider
Introduction
I am returning to Business Insider as their West Coast Bureau Chief in November 2014.

I most recently created and ran CITEworld, an IDG enterprise publication devoted to the consumerization of IT. During my first stint at Business Insider, I established the San Francisco bureau and enterprise technology coverage and helped define strategy for the BI Intelligence research service. Prior to that, I worked for 10 years as an analyst for Directions on Microsoft and blogged about digital music for CBS Interactive. I started in tech journalism at CNET.com in 1995.

I also play bass. Less now that I have kids.
Bragging rights
Had a baby, got a new job, sold a house in four days, and moved to California -- all between August and November of 2010.

Stumbled into this place after walking out of another joint down on the main tourist drag, and was very impressed -- food is legitimate, spicy if you want it. Only drawback is no liquor license, but if you walk to the Kona Brewpub in the next parking lot, you can bring a growler over and they will chill glasses for you. Very nice people and great food.
