A Klout score for kindness? A random act of kindness motivated by narcissism is a kindness nonetheless (...I'm looking at you, ALS Ice Bucket Challenge).
Will a personal kindness score appeal to millennialsand encourage people to be, well, kinder?

True 'ridesharing' is defined as an act of sharing rides or transportation, especially by commuters.  But today, the term is loosely thrown around any time there is an app, a driver and a passenger involved.  I've even heard it used to describe the numerous restaurant, meal and grocery delivery services that [...]

I am looking for a new Wordpress Genesis theme template for my wife's psychiatry practice website (moving from Metric theme). Anyone have experience with Mindfulness theme by ZigZagPress? Or anyone with experience with ZigZagPress in general?

Some great Winter Park skiing this week - and the scenery's not bad, either.

As sharing economy companies hit scale, they will increasingly be subject to external regulation. Here's a look at what those rules could look like.

Are Airbnb, Zipcar, Etsy, and Uber really all doing the same thing? Or do we need better definitions of this new economic force?

Interesting perspective on Uber from a driver perspective.

Sharing Economy Product Manager at Progressive Insurance | Local Search | SoLoMo | Skeptical Environmentalist
Introduction
I'm just a husband/dad trying to make a great life for my family while learning and having fun along the way.

I'm currently a commercial auto product manager at Progressive Insurance, focusing on the Sharing Economy and insurance implications. Before that, my day job was helping 35,000+ Progressive Insurance Agencies grow their business through online and offline marketing.

When I'm not at work or spending time with family, I might be working on my wife's psychiatry practice web site or playing dorky-sounding German strategy board games.

5 random personal things about me:
  • Successfully executed the unquestionably greatest marriage proposal of all time
  • Once beat Vince Carter in a shooting contest & have been dunked on by Jerry Stackhouse
  • Survived a bus fire in the scorching Mexican jungle and also an emergency plane landing in Syracuse, NY
  • 3 favorite places: Anguilla, Walt Disney World, Poland
  • Once picked 52 quarts of strawberries in one day

We switched to Advanced Quality Lawn care from another service provider for this 2015 lawn season, and so far we've been very pleased with the results (fertilization and weed control treatments). Pricing was very competitive and they've been available to answer my questions when I needed them. So far, so good!

I had the bourbon salmon which was average, a little disappointed in portion size. Beer selection was good though.

We rented three snowmobiles for two hours of unguided touring and had a blast on a beautiful clear day. Amazing views, easy trails even if you've never snowmobiled before. My only knock on the experience was that for one of the snowmobiles we paid morr for a higher end model, and we were disappointed that it couldnt go as fast as the base models! Turns out, we learned afterwards, they'd set it to "eco-mode" - why did we bother to pay more for it?

Had the burnt ends which were tasty, especially sampling their 5 different sauces with them. Admittedly I am somewhat of a BBQ snob from NC, but the sides and BBQ portions were a bit disappointing. Definitely get the baked beans though, they were very good.

Had the lobster mac and cheese, mussels, and cup of chowder. All were good but not special. Service was good. Still, not sure I'll go back next time I'm in Milford.

Great skiing on an impressive variety of terrains and trails. My favorite area was the Parsenn Bowl area with Mary Jane a close second. Hope to come back soon!

Had the Green Chili Soup which was good. However, service here was very slow on a weekday for lunch. 20 minute wait to just get a bowl of soup...understaffed.
