I was in a bakery last weekend. Placed on the shelf above the birthday cakes, they had confetti, candles, and snow sprays. It seems obvious that anyone buying a birthday cake is also likely to buy confetti and candles, yet many online marketers ignore such simple cross-selling opportunities. Maybe it's because Google doesn't always consider cakes and confetti "related search terms," which is incredible considering the algorithmic power of Google!

So how can we find out what people searching for our products are also searching for? Read more to find out...

The vast amount of #socialmedia  content created online is staggering. More than 350 million new photos are uploaded to #Facebook  every single day. One hundred hours of video is uploaded to #youtube  every minute. On average, more than 3000 tweets are retweeted on #Twitter  every second! Its difficult to comprehend the sheer volume or videos, photos and articles that exist on the Internet. Read more: http://mattjanaway.co.uk/10-tools-creating-great-visual-content/

E-commerce bounce rates average 33.9% and go as high as 68%. Cart abandonment rates of more than 66% add to the problems that any e-commerce business faces. The growing showrooming trend further threatens the very existence of online businesses. #ecommerce
Optimizing for e-commerce sales isn`t easy. But you can stand out if you use dynamic pricing and behavioral targeting. Here`s what you need to know.

Picked up my new car last weekend only for someone to bump into it in a car park (while I wasn't in the car) after only 2 days of ownership and less than 100 miles on the clock. This shot was pre-bump. Looking forwards to getting it back from +BMW in a week or so - back to how it was when it came off the production line a couple of weeks ago! #BMW   #MPerformance   #MPower

There are more than 300 million users and 3 million business pages on LinkedIn, but that's not what makes LinkedIn vital for B2B marketing. It's the blistering click-through-rate.LinkedIn is the origin of a jaw-dropping 64% of total traffic coming to a select bunch of corporate websites from social media. If that doesn't impress you, here's the stunner. Hubspot found that LinkedIn converted more leads than Facebook and Twitter. This could well be...

Introduction
I like to think of myself as a forward thinking entrepreneur, slash, internet marketer. I have started, purchased, optimised and sold more than 10 eCommerce websites which had multi-million £ revenues.

When all my businesses were sold on and I had the chance to spend some time at home I got bored. Quickly. I wanted a challenge and decided to make myself available for work and took a job as Head of Digital at an industrial retailer based in Nottingham. My team now looks after 30+ websites and we have huge plans to take over the world.
