E-commerce bounce rates average 33.9% and go as high as 68%. Cart abandonment rates of more than 66% add to the problems that any e-commerce business faces. The growing showrooming trend further threatens the very existence of online businesses. #ecommerce
Optimizing for e-commerce sales isn`t easy. But you can stand out if you use dynamic pricing and behavioral targeting. Here`s what you need to know.

Picked up my new car last weekend only for someone to bump into it in a car park (while I wasn't in the car) after only 2 days of ownership and less than 100 miles on the clock. This shot was pre-bump. Looking forwards to getting it back from +BMW in a week or so - back to how it was when it came off the production line a couple of weeks ago! #BMW   #MPerformance   #MPower

There are more than 300 million users and 3 million business pages on LinkedIn, but that's not what makes LinkedIn vital for B2B marketing. If that doesn't impress you, here's the stunner. Hubspot found that LinkedIn converted more leads than Facebook and Twitter. This could well be...

Conversion rates are one of the most significant factors to the success of your eCommerce site, and are usually the most overlooked. Analysing your conversion rates is simple, but taking the time to improve them can be challenging, especially those who don’t have much experience. Ignoring conversion rates and not participating in Conversion Rate Optimization ( #CRO  ) can negatively affect your website and your profits. Read more... #conversionoptimization

Recent research shows that 53% of businesses spend less than 5% of their total marketing budget on conversion optimization. 35% of the businesses report a conversion rate of less than 1%. It wouldn't surprise me if a good chunk of businesses don't even know their eCommerce conversion rates. For this reason, I will be highlighting some incredibly useful and actionable tips which will be almost guaranteed to help turn wasted visitors into paying customers.

The vast amount of #socialmedia  content created online is staggering. More than 350 million new photos are uploaded to #Facebook  every single day. One hundred hours of video is uploaded to #youtube  every minute. On average, more than 3000 tweets are retweeted on #Twitter  every second! Its difficult to comprehend the sheer volume or videos, photos and articles that exist on the Internet. Read more: http://mattjanaway.co.uk/10-tools-creating-great-visual-content/

Bots are the Internet’s silent majority. Behind the scenes, billions of these software agents shape our web experience by influencing the way we learn, trade, work, let loose, and interact with each other online. This is a fascinating report on the data behind bots.
In 2014 bots account for 56% of all website traffic, with malicious Impersonator bots trending up and helpful RSS bots trending down. Read this report to learn more about recent web bot activity and learn more about the Internet’s true silent majority.

Introduction
I like to think of myself as a forward thinking entrepreneur, slash, internet marketer. I have started, purchased, optimised and sold more than 10 eCommerce websites which had multi-million £ revenues.

When all my businesses were sold on and I had the chance to spend some time at home I got bored. Quickly. I wanted a challenge and decided to make myself available for work and took a job as Head of Digital at an industrial retailer based in Nottingham. My team now looks after 30+ websites and we have huge plans to take over the world.

The attraction itself would get a 4 start review but it gains a star for the views. The views from the top are simply stunning. You can see for miles around in every direction! Take your camera to capture amazing scenery. The castle itself is quite interesting and full of history. Taking a walk around the various buildings which show off various wars really shows you how evil mankind is. So many glory wars and deaths all in the name of mankind and egos of the kings. Overall a good visit. Be prepared to have tired feet and legs at the end of your trip!

The zoo was just OK. I wish I could have given it a higher rating but I can't. Most of the zoo was shut and at least 30% of the animals were locked away. The ones that weren't locked away were great. The Rhino is a sight to behold! It's huge and really gives you an idea of the power which you just don't get on photos and videos. It was great to see a Panda in the flesh. I suspect they may well go extinct before long, which would be a huge disaster. The zoo could do with better signs and guidance. You don't feel lost but you do feel like you are missing things when walking around. This isn't usually a problem but the zoo is built on an incredibly steep hill so having to climb up the incline once is tough, doing it twice is very difficult. The staff were nice and friendly and the zoo was clean. It's a shame that most of the animals seemed to be hidden from view.
