Like water and oil or Eastenders and Coronation Street, exercise and me have not always seen eye to eye but now I'm taking up the challenge of a half-marathon. Urgh. My first training session included something called a 'circuit', it is indeed a steep learning curve and I have 12 weeks to get ready. My motivation for this run is the memory of a great friend we recently lost, a friend who would now be laughing at my attempts to keep fit. I've never asked for donations before, and it's almost 100% I won't ask again, so please consider donating to two great charities to help me get across the line! Click on the link below and anything would be welcome...

I'm dubious... Reddit has been toxic for some time. Turnaround will be tough.

I hate to say it but our food was nearly inedible. The food delivered was bad, the rice was overcooked, the sesame prawn toast looked and tasted like it had been microwaved, the green curry looked and tasted horrendous. The ribs were good but from a £23 order it was the only thing we ate properly.

Good to stand outside in the summer, but inside it's noisy and crammed with people and lots of furniture.

Bland and business like. The service and the welcome at check-in/reception varies between loud and impersonal or down right rude. The downstairs lobby welcome is the worst. WIFI is really expensive. The hotel generally feels dark and lacking in natural light.

Tourist hotspot, great for a view. Stick to drinks here, the food isn't great.

Great food, great for drinks with friends in the sunshine - IF you get there early. If it is sunny and you aren't there by 11:30am then forget it. the food is good, but fairly over priced for what you get.
