This is what inferiority looks like...
Back in October of last year, smartphone addicts like myself got very excited at the prospect of the TTC installing WiFi on station platforms across the system. Plans were in place to outfit Bloor-Yonge and St. George stations sometime in late 2013 as a trial run, but the project has...

And then he took us inside and made us pancakes...
On Friday, Prince used his new Twitter account to share the amazing and perfect cover art for his single, "Breakfast Can Wait." Yes, it's a picture of Dave Chappelle holding pancakes, taken from the classic 2004 Chappelle's Show sketch.

Still a reliable spot for Toronto localvores. I've only ever been for dinner which offers great sharable food plates and wine pairings. The menu includes a mix of seasona items as well as a host of regular year-round items like poutine with braised beef and aged cheddar, steak frites, beef short ribs, and galantine of organic chicken. Both the poutine and the chicken are noteworthy. The salads are colourful with a thoughtful combination of flavours and texture. The prices are generally about fair, however, the sourdough bread plate (served cold with butter and a sweet potato spread) at $5 is probably less memorable than what many comparable restaurants serve for free.

Very pleased. Not super cheap but reasonable for what you're getting: a great selection of barnboard and salvaged trees that you can sift through to find exactly what you want. I bought three great boards to make a 2m wide bookshelf that worked out spectacularly. The also have a selection of logs for making stools as well as finished and unfinished table tops.

Brought out the kid in me! Great facility with loads of interesting vintage passenger cars and locomotives on display and to explore. It's a bit more focused classic steam and coal than it is modern. I only wished the history and chronology of the British railway was better organized or knitted together as the history felt a bit fragmented from one exhibit to another.

It's an average kebab, nothing special: cooked tender and juicy, but no unique seasoning and very plain rice. I had the chicken and it was plumped quite a bit and so slightly stringy as a result. After the meal they serve a pleasant complimentary spread of a nice fresh fruit salad, Turkish delight and a potent anise liqueur of sorts.

Great brewery tour. Lovely pub in the brewhouse with cozy, brewery-themed decor and low rafters, offering a fine selection of their current brews.

Delicious, tart kefir served fresh as a parfait or lightly sweetened and frozen as a dessert. Great toppings and excellent service. My only complaint is that because they're obscurely located on the PATH, their hours are really only friendly to the local business crowd and much less to local downtown residents.
