I received my new cell phone today. It is a Nexus 6 on Google's Project Fi service which will choose between Wifi, T-Mobile, or Sprint for calls and data. Similar to what Republic Wireless was doing with Sprint on my old Moto X. Having Wifi calling is huge in my faraday cage of an office building and down in the server rooms.
The phone came with a surprise box containing a 6000mAh external battery pack, a slim shell case, and some head phones.

My Chromecast Audio came in today! I bought an optical cable and hooked it up to my old non-hdmi receiver in the garage. I have been using a bluetooth speaker on there, but the range was terrible. I was thinking about buying an adapter to get the audio out of a regular chromecast, but this is so much better and cheaper.

My Cologne Kölsch brew finally started fermenting!  After 48 hours it was completely flat and I was thinking I might have to pitch again, but I gave it one last violent shake and adjusted the heating pad and off it went. Now having the big carboy for the primary is great so I can see what is happening without fooling with a bucket. Not looking forward to the cleaning though...
