My my. Look what's on the front page of Yahoo Travel today. My favorite island in the world.
Despite its proximity to Taiwan and its stunning natural beauty, the tiny island of Liuqiu is still a hidden gem.

Think you know Vancouver? Think again.
What's up in Vancouver this weekend? There is plenty of nature, culture and creativity to explore in Canada's second most visited city.

People think it's hard to find a good drink (or poutine) in @VisitSaltLake. I beg to differ. http://bit.ly/1H4T0nc  @Trivago#checkin

A piece I did for the launch of The Liberty Project. I love the story, but I'm not too excited about the title they gave it (I submitted without a title). I'm going to email them asking to change it. I've got a couple ideas, but I'd love suggestions if you have any ideas.

Tagline
Adventure Blogger at XpatMatt.com, About.com Snowboard Guide, has been said to look like Mr. Orange, feels more like Edward Barnhard.
Introduction
I write the About.com snowboarding guide and the occasional story for my own website, XpatMatt.com. The former blog manager for Let's Roll, the FlightNetwork.com blog.  I play guitar a bit, but I wish I played more. I love to surf even though I'm awful at it. I don't always drink beer, but when I do, beer everywhere should be very afraid.
Bragging rights
I speak Mandarin Chinese 很好, Spanish más o menos, write English very well, and take some pretty nice photographs
Education

I have to agree with everyone else. Tom is a great guy and extremely knowledgable and friendly. I would trust him with any instrument. He genuinely cares about working on instruments and it shows.
