Took this photo last Sunday during a family afternoon drive. I've been wanting to take this photo for a while now, but just never seemed to get at it. It's kind of a funny story how I took this image.
I pulled over, got my camera gear out of the back of the car.
Me - "I'm going to take a couple photos of this road, Okay?."
Wife - "Why???"
Me - "Because it looks kind of cool and I think it will make a good shot!"
Wife - "Alright...." (she looks at what I'm looking at and looks back at me and gives me a weird look like "You're nuts!")
Wife - "...I guess I trust your judgement."
Haha, maybe I am...but I thought this was a pretty cool scene. This is the Selkirk Road going South to Wood Islands. It's a fairly straight road that winds up and down at least half a dozen rolling hills. At the top of the hill, where I took this image you can see the coastline of Nova Scotia in the background.
