You must visit the Pantheon, it's a breathtaking building with a spiritual ambience. A perfect geometric construction, the famous dome is amazing; looking up, it appears to get bigger the longer you stare at it! The walls are adorned with wonderful artwork that glisten when the sunlight pours through the dome. Typically, there are many people with selfie sticks, but you can ignore them as you walk around. I'd suggest going earlier in the day to avoid the crowds.

Probably a mid-range restaurant for the area: decent service, pleasant enough staff and good food. The square itself makes for a wonderful spot to sit and see the world pass by. The street entertainers make for excellent listening/watching! We managed to grab a spot outside just before the lunchtime rush and were served right away. As the restaurant got busier the staff were still attentive, which was excellent! The food itself was ok but not particularly stand out, so you could probably do better if you looked around.

Brilliant restaurant, you must visit. One of the best value for excellent food places you'll find. Two beers whilst we were waiting, two mains, a bottle of wine and two Americanos came to €43 - an absolute bargain given the quality of the food!

We booked tickets the evening before we decided to visit the Colosseum online from coopculture.it; what a time saver. When we arrived around 11am, the queues were long and slow - we skipped them and went straight in by showing our email confirmation at the reservations desk. I highly recommend you do this, if not to avoid the queue, then to avoid being harrassed by the street sellers! The Colosseum is everything you'd hope for, and more. Make sure you walk down the Via Dei Fori Imperali - the first glimpse you get of the Colosseum is pretty special. We spent two hours walking around and taking the sights you're afforded from the different levels and we could've stayed for longer! At €14 a ticket, it's the best historic sight you could ever wish to visit.

We stopped by for breakfast and had a very reasonably priced coffee and croissant. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who was very enthusiastic! We then went again in the evening fr a beer and the vibe was very different; it was very loud and the staff were particularly unattentive. Go for a coffee but not for a wine!

Great late night vibe, decent selection of drinks, but most of all the bar staff were very friendly and happy to chat despite it being very busy. Definitely worth you taking some time to stop by!
