Has anyone else seen this from UPS? They say that soon you'll be able to "live track" your package's location.

I think it's for any next-day and two-day packages that are committed for delivery at some point before "end of day", like next-day early AM which I believe is guaranteed by 10:30am.

My Gold Lion 12AU7 vacuum tube has arrived, now I'm just waiting for my xDuoo TA-01 DAC/amp to arrive. I also got in on the Campfire Audio Nova IEM Massdrop so hopefully everything sounds good together.

The xDuoo covers most of the tube with just the top exposed so I think I should be ok with the paint. It's a tube DAC so there's no point in going too crazy with tube rolling but the Gold Lion was less than $40 so I figured why not. Definitely not a "high-end" setup but I'm sure it'll sound better than $30 Sony earbuds plugged in to my laptop.

Apparently they just found a dead guy in a conference room at Apple in Cupertino.
A male employee was found dead at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff.

"Hey guys, forget the whole court case thing to build a backdoor, we found a vulnerability in your operating system and can get access to anyone's data anyway."

...wonderful...
The Department of Justice says it may have found a way to gain access to the iPhone of Syed Farook, the terrorist in the San Bernadino shooting.

Campfire Audio Nova IEMs connected to my Schiit Fulla DAC/Amp. The IEMs both sound and look amazing and are really comfortable, even after a few hours of continuous use.

I love that indie game developers have a place to sell their creations direct to customers. Sometimes though I really wonder why one of these games exists. Case in point: Octodad: Dadliest Catch

Description on Steam:
The player controls Octodad, a dapper octopus masquerading as a human, as he goes about his life. Octodad's existence is a constant struggle, as he must master mundane tasks with his unwieldy boneless tentacles.

Introduction
I'm a tech guy. As of May 2012, I've been a professional developer for 15 years. My father had to drive me to and from my first web developer job because I was too young to get a driver's license. Writing code and making things work is not just a job, it's a passion.

I'm also into cars (I've had two cars with engines that I've personally built and installed), play 8-ball and 9-ball in APA leagues, and enjoy gardening to occasionally get my eyes off of flickering pixels.

I spent the first 30 years of my life in the Boston area, then I got tired of the cold weather and snow and moved out to California. The only thing I regret about moving to Silicon Valley from Boston is not doing it 5 years earlier.

"Due to understaffing we had to close early" - that's what I was just told at the drive through window. Unbelievable. Great manager at this place.

I've worked with many automotive and motorcycle repair shops over the years and Spec-1 is one of the absolute best. Glen and his crew took my old, beat-up Honda Nighthawk 750 and made it run like new again. Not only that but they answered all my questions, patiently provided me with updates every time I called (which was almost once a day) and even fixed problems on the bike that I didn't know were there. All of this for a very reasonable price - the final bill was far lower than I expected. You can trust these guys and know that qualified and honest mechanics are working on your ride.

Earlier today I visited Fremont Ford to look at a new Mustang. Specifically, a 2015 Mustang turbo. They were the only dealer in the bay area that had the exact car I wanted and now I'm glad they were because their sales team was an absolute pleasure to work with. My salesman Omar Omari was extremely friendly and helpful and the finance manager is an absolute magician!! I wasn't sure if I could even get financing approved for this vehicle - not only did he get me approved but I got a low interest rate with a small down payment, they took over $1000 off the sticker (without me even asking) and I was given more than the KBB value for my trade-in. I've purchased several cars in my life and this was the best buying experience I've ever had. Definitely ask if Omar is available when you arrive - I wish every car salesman was like him!

The pharmacy manager - an older Asian man - isn't very helpful and insisted on giving me the wrong prescription. If possible, I recommend going to another pharmacy.
