Finally got to see one of my heroes, Brant Bjork the other night at the Altar Bar in Pittsburgh.

Corrosion of Conformity headlined. I never got much into them before, but now I've got most of that set list stuck in my head. The opening band, Mothership, brought more energy than any band I've seen in a long time. Definitely worth checking out.

This is the most badass thing I've seen all day. Puts the actual Stockton Heat logo to shame. Makes the Stockton Heat logo look like the logo for somebody's auto detailing shop.
If you follow hockey you might be aware of the relocation of several AHL and ECHL teams that will happen this summer at the behest of some western-based NHL clubs. The Calgary Flames are setting up...

Omni-Channel Solutions Analyst
Introduction
I'm a Senior Business Analyst for a grocer.  My background is in Point of Sale and Omni-Channel but now I'm stretching out to logistics.  It should go without saying that all the opinions I express here are mine and not my boss's, or anybody else's.

I'm not sure how I got to Business Analyst / Computer geek from being a German Major at Westminster College.

I'm also really tall.

If I don't know you and you circle me, I'll probably won't circle you back unless you seem to post original, useful content.  I definitely won't circle you if you don't have a profile set up.

This is a small sports bar with great food. They win best wings for Butler County every year. Favorites are the Yinzer and the Everything, but all are good. Deb also makes some incredible soup from scratch. If they have the Reuben balls, be sure to get an order; they're delicious. And finally, you have to stop here during Oktoberfest in September when they have the German menu, complete with Limburger Cheese.

The thing that is unique here are the steamed burgers...they're cooked to order and are nice and tender. My favorites are the Nox Steamer, the Ol' George fish sandwich (get the half...I saw the whole once and it was ridiculous), and the chicken parm. This is a nice, hidden gem with a friendly staff.

This is a smoking dive bar with great Polish food. I had the Polish Platter: two enormous, hand made pierogies made from thick dough, five inches of kielbasa, and the best haluski I've ever had...creamy cooked cabbage with a massive dumpling sliced and served on top. Our server was busy but friendly. The place itself is very rough around the edges, but this was some of the best Polish food I've ever had. My lunch partner also liked her grilled chicken breast sandwich.

In town for a wedding, we dropped in for a snack and a few beers. This place has a great, rotating beer selection. We also had the buffalo tofu, which was way better than the buffalo tofu back home. I'm flexitarian, but my girlfriend and her brother-in-law are vegetarian, so I've become a connoisseur of veggie burgers. This place has the best veggie burger I've ever had. Better than 95% of the beef burgers I've had. Definitely try it. But then the waitress showed up with bread pudding. Holy. Crap. This thing is made with lady fingers and is absolutely incredible. I apologize for all the superlatives in this review, but this really was an excellent experience for a few out-of-towners. I wish we had time to come back for seconds.

This is a small brewpub with good beer and fantastic food. The beer changes daily and the menu seasonally. The truffle mac and cheese, the fried rice and the burger are my favorites. Last season they had a pulled pork taco with Korean barbeque and slaw that was incredible; if it comes back, order it.

Excellent Pad Thai...possibly the best I've ever had. It's a little different than others; lots of cabbage.

Excellent cupcakes, cookies, scones and donuts. Probably the best cake donut I've ever tasted. Definitely worth a stop. They also have good coffee on tap. Looking forward to trying some cake or a pumpkin roll one of these days.
