There are a couple of pieces about Arizona Master Teachers of Mathematics--a project I ran at UA and that is continuing under Rebecca McGraw--in the latest issue of Teaching Children Mathematics. One by me and Melissa Page, and another by one of our many amazing teachers, Tabetha Finchum.
