Our stunning new range of eye-catching, ornamental #chess sets are now available.

Made from ground stone resin, these chess pieces feature superb levels of detail and are finished in cream and a wonderfully distinctive deep red / burgundy stain.

From an #AncientEgyptian design to #Roman, #Elizabethan to #Victorian, bring history to life on the #Chessboard.

On the 19th April we competed in the annual Toad in the Hole World Championships in Lewes...In our first appearance at the competition we gave a good account of ourselves, unfortunately being eliminated in the group stage after winning one and losing one, though we were 1 point away from knocking out perennial competitors/group favourites and progressing to the knockout stage! Many thanks to Zoe for her camerawork (and cheerleading skills) which has allowed us to provide you all with some fascinating team statistics...Footage to follow in the coming days πŸ˜€

We are loving our latest stock addition, the #Cuboro marble track system. The add on packs and supplementary sets mean the possibilities are endless!
To get the imagination flowing, here's something to aspire to...

Standard alley #skittles (3 balls rolled at 9 pins) is mainly found in the South West of #England and #SouthWales. Here's a question. How far East can this game be found? There is a skittle alley at The Fountain, Ashhurst in West Sussex. Does anyone know of a #skittle alley further East than that??

Well knock me over with quarter of a matchstick, Daddlums lives! Yes the old game of Daddlums, a little known Kentish version of table skittles - quite different from Northamptonshire Skittles and Leicestershire Table Skittles. Everyone including Arthur Taylor, best known Pub Games expert in the land, believed the last table disappeared from the Vigo Inn in Kent many years ago.

And lo, out of the blue comes a Facebook message from the Jolly Drayman Pub mentioning their Daddlums table. Everyone get down to Gravesend for a try ASAP...
