What's in a home warranty? The policies are relatively inexpensive, but there’s a catch. Dave breaks it down for you on the most recent blog. Check it out!

Hi Bob,
Thanks for sharing your feedback. We want to look into this as soon as possible for you, but we can't find any records of quotes or work done under your name. Also, our service fee is quoted upfront and we feel it is very competitive when compared to other similar businesses in our service area. We strive to provide fast, friendly and reasonably priced services for our customers. We also notice you mentioned you'd never go with a chain again but we're locally owned and operated in the Cedar Rapids area for more than 28 years. The details you provided below about your experience, along with us not having a record of your quote or name, make us wonder if you've accidentally confused our company for another in the area? We'd be happy to talk with you more about this, please call our Vice President, Tom  Hall, at 319-363-7533 to discuss further. Thank you!

:REMINDER::

Winterize your house now if you haven't already. KCRG-TV9 First Alert Weather is saying a chance of snow for tomorrow.

::Quick Check List::

1) Unhook garden hoses and drain outdoor faucets to prevent freezing

2) Seal windows and doors to prevent your warm air from leaking (You're not paying to heat the whole darn neighborhood, right?!)

3) In the basement, check for dampness on the floor and walls, test your sump pump, flush your water heater and check for any signs of leakage.

4) Make that appointment to have your heating system serviced yearly. Call Master Plumbing at 319-PLUMBER to schedule!

Bath towels can pick up a mildewy smell pretty quick in a damp bathroom.
Find out what can nix it fast on Dave's newest blog post:

Hint: Jackie Kennedy had these installed in the White House during the remodel. The televised tour of the complete project was aired on CBS in 1962.

And yes, we're old enough to remember watching it air live!

We're all about multi-purpose products! Find out how our President, Dave, used one of our favorite products to nurse his rental property back from the brink of ex-STINK-tion. You're gonna want a tub of this on hand for your own home! http://bit.ly/1o1tHA0

Rebates, rebates, rebates! If you're thinking about replacing a water heater, AC/furnace or even major appliances, the Eastern Iowa REC has a great list of available rebates and forms on their website.

When you install any of these items with us, we'll also help you find rebates available from utility providers and manufacturers, too and advise you on what you can qualify for!
