I have known Massage Therapy center for years now and had outstanding bodywork done here. These are the experts of massage therapy to go to. The quality is way above your standard massages you get anywhere these days. These are highly trained professionals. Sure if you want the bells and whistles of a spa this is not the one, but if you want quality massage with staff that understands your body this is the place. The owner is an amazingly talented and experienced massage therapist and has been in the business for many years, these are the experts to turn to when you want real massages.

My love affair with this place started a long time ago. I am still so grateful for the massage I got after the birth of my first child. The deep work on my lower back really helped me recover from the pregnancy in a way that nothing else had. This is professional massage at its best. Like so many people, my life is too full - children, business, home. The time that I can carve out to take care of myself is precious & is well spent here. These are well trained, professional therapists who really listen. I always walk away renewed in body & relaxed in mind.

Anything Lucia Miracchi sets her hand and heart to is destined to be special, including the love she has poured into making MTC a refuge and place of healing for so many. MTC is an asset to the community as well as to the individuals who practice or receive services there. Parking easy free and easy, and you can really make a day of Calif Ave, with its shops, galleries, bookstores, and---of course---a visit to MTC.

I've been going to the MTC for years. The atmostphere lends itself to relaxation. The therapists are professionals who know what they are doing. Lucia is a dedicated teacher, therapist and leader. Paula L.

Massage Therapy Center in Palo Alto not only offers excellent and very fairly-priced massages, but, as I recently discovered, keeps other practitioners such as acupuncturists and Feldenkrais therapists on staff. Everyone who works there seems to be of very high quality, and highly educated. Other than the very tasteful and restful (and exceedingly clean!!) decor and environment, I have enjoyed using the sauna before getting a massage........it's included in the price, and extends my lovely 'hour of relaxation' substantially.

I recently received a massage as a gift for Mother's Day from my partner. I'm a fairly experienced buyer of massage services (Watercourse Way, Equinox Spa, Esalen, and private in home services). I've had massages ranging from mediocre to heavenly. My massage at Massage Therapy Center on California Ave was definitely in the high range--- but at 30% less the cost. Not only was the price lower, but I didn't have to compromise on ambiance either, which is important to me. The center is very pleasant and soothing with all the soulful amenities you'd expect at more expensive spas. My massage therapist Becky was a real pro, and I will definitely go to MTC again and again.

Excellent massage, professional front desk with live person and not an answering machine, relaxing decor, feels intimate, easy parking. Very happy with the total experience, have gone back several times to experience different types of massage.

The Massage Therapy Center offers comprehensive massage services. Having been around for over 25 years, this center knows all the types of massage one would look for: Swedish, deep tissue, and many others, including therapeutic. After my knee surgery I was immensely helped by massage that stretched my hamstrings and eased the muscles around my hip. When I am stressed I go for a deep, slow massage. I would always recommend this center over any other.
