Google Street View is no longer limited to roads and sidewalks — now, you can browse stunning panoramic images from under the sea/

With a simple click or swipe, users can explore the subacquatic world, including Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, Hawaii’s Hanauma Bay and Apo Islands in the Philippines. In total, there are panoramas of six of the ocean’s coral reefs.

Finally, my house is visible on Google Maps
Don't forget Google Earth lets you explore the Moon, Mars, the night sky, and the oceans as well! Oh and 3D buildings + historical images too.

Meanwhile, Apple is trying to locate Berlin.
what sucks is that Google Earth is not fully integrated with Google Maps
As for Apple Maps it's just a newborn trying to get on it's feet but I somehow feel it will grow and get stronger
+Paschalis Mpeis I hope that was a joke.  They have already created a map of the moon and mars, I fail to see how adding panorama of aquatic treasures is out of fear of a sub-par product that is isolated to a minority share of the worlds smartphone market.  No, I believe that +Google Maps is just continuing to expand, and innovate in a way that has brought them to the forefront of the web-based mapping industry.
That is ridiculous but awesome.
In the meantime, at Cupertino, Apple engineering team is trying hard to not let people drive in the oceans using iOS 6 maps. ;-)
I read that Apple Maps can do this too... albeit unintentionally.
Incredible...I hope my bathroom isn't next.
Meanwhile, Apple maps is trying to illustrate straight lines and locate the North Pole.
..Thats pushing innovation right it....
OMG,human beings cannot stop google anymore
That's cool , and it only makes me want to go dive there...
totally cool, but now we can all see what´s unfortunately missing down there...
on the other hand, we have now evidence to make more positive actions!!!
...but shouldn´t it be called STRAIT view, n not street view?

How deep?
As #Apple  still struggles to figure out and show what you can see... #Google  moves on to explore new depths.  Love it!
Titanic must have been using Apple maps to navigate the waters :)

As a diver I hope this inspires people into the ocean. It is truly an incredible experience.
