PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD
+Maryville Lions Club  is providing free vision screenings to children in Blount County community.

Where: Blount County Library
When: June 14, 15, 16
Who: Children under age 6 (older children screened if you request)

If you know parents of children this age, please let them know this service is available.

We have a special camera that detects vision disorders such as "lazy eye" by simply taking a picture. All vision screening results are reviewed by Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. Each year approximately 6% of children screened are referred to an eye care specialist as a result of these screenings.

(If treatment cannot be afforded, special resources are available through the Lions Club as well.)
