Basic Information
I've been here a couple times now, and there are some great things and not-so-great things about this place. First of all, it is in one of the four (I think) sections of the North Hills Shopping Neighbourhood, so the parking can be a challenge. Okay, to be fair there are probably always spaces in the Harris Teeter garage but the parking right next to the restaurant is pretty subpar (I usually park behind Chuy's in the dirt "event" lot). Secondly, it's a little pricy. Granted, I ordered two meals worth of food today but a burger and a drink (soda/lemonade/iced tea) will definitely run you close to 10$ and that's a bit much for me on a regular basis. And like one of the reviewers said, the burgers are on the smaller side. Third, they also have free wi-fi. It's slow, but sufficient when you're eating in or waiting for your food. Now, I'm mushing all the food stuff together next. It's a trial and error to find your perfect combo. My favorite burger is the West Side (followed by El Guapo), and I love ALL of the lemonades (although beet/ginger tops it for me). Today I tried one of the smoothies for the first time, the Three Greens, and it was SPECTACULAR. Fries aren't anemic here, so when you order a side you're getting a healthy serving. However, the one thing I've tried that I just cannot endorse is the kale and quinoa bowl (or at least the first on the menu) - the kale was really grainy and it just didn't taste right - I'm giving it a try again with a different kale bowl and hopefully this time it'll be different. Would I recommend? Absolutely. Do I think the person who was unhappy is delusional? Not at all - but I can tell you that this place is not built to really have beer/bar service even if it's in the place.
