Book Launch Event

The upcoming anthology Winds of Change has a new blurb by Bill McKibben: http://www.moonwillowpress.com/winds-change/ (pub date: October 16).

"About time some serious writers and artists engaged with the biggest issue of our time–maybe all time. These stories show that engagement fully underway!"
-Bill McKibben, founder 350.org"

I'd also like to announce the book launch party, which I confirmed yesterday (though I've talked about it some on my running blog!).

When: November 17, 2015, 7:00 - 8:45 pm
Where: Burnaby Public Library, Willingdon Branch - Program Room
Author participants: Paul Collins, Janis Hindman, Michael Donoghue, Anneliese Schultz, Keith Wilkinson, Mary Woodbury (maybe more)

If you are in the Vancouver, BC area, stop by!

The anthology originates from a short story writing contest that Eco-fiction.com hosted last summer, along with 100,000 Poets (Authors) for Change. It has turned into an anthology, along with a few extra participants (Stephen Siperstein, Paul Collins, Carolyn Welch); we're very excited about authors tackling climate change in ways that will move you and speak to you and help you cope: which is further proof that "what the warming world needs now is art, sweet art." (-Bill McKibben, Grist, 2005).
