Happy Valentine's Day - what's your real estate crush? Mine is an outdoor fireplace/summer kitchen!!!

St. Valentine's Influence on Homebuyers

Realtor.com conducted a survey that shows that 69% of homebuyers fall head-over-heals or get a crush over a home they have visited. The statistics also show some key differences between men and women:

1. 41% of women get a crush over a home that is out of their price range, while only 30% of men get the same feeling.
2. 36% of men reported that they get a new home crush every week. However, only 29% of women are likely to experience weekly crushes.
3. 54% of women and 46% of men say that outdoor living spaces such as backyards, patios and decks are the mostly likely features that would give them a crush over a home.

Do these statistics really reflect the real world? I am a little doubtful!

What an incredible place - we're exhausted! Ropes course over the lake, zip lining over the lake, ropes course inside, lots of hands-on exhibits and rides, plus laser tag (I won). So glad we put this on our list. Plan a whole day because there is so much to do! Must put this on your list to see and do!!

I have been working with Partin Home Inspection for almost ten years and never once has he disappointed a single client that I have referred! Not only are they satisfied, even months and years after the closing, but they are highly impressed with his efficiency, friendliness, knowledge, and above and beyond service! My clients like that my professional work ethic of integrity continues after the contract with a great service from Partin Home Inspection. He checks for red flags in the basic inspection for the water and septic. They will also do radon tests so you have one person to use for both services which costs less and saves time. His reports are easy to read and extensive since most buyers are not present for the inspection. I have to give three referrals for home inspections but Partin Home Inspection is the only one I can write a google review!!! He only serves Georgia, not North Carolina - that's my only complaint because I sell in both states and I miss him in NC. Bruce Partin has actually come out to a house after a closing when I could figure they weren't getting hot water in their guest bath because of the scald dial but could not figure it out and he came over and made the adjustment. I love attending inspections with him and he has taught me a lot as my testimonials state, but all the credit goes to him!!

Fresh food, polite staff, clean lobby, and great soda machine to customize your own soda. Location is convenient right on Hwy 515/76 in center of town. Has a drive through. This location does not give dog treats.

Oh my gosh! In love with this place! The horse back riding was excellent and so peaceful. The breakfast has the fruit bar of my dreams! Our little cabin was so nice. They didn't have the hot tub ready so it didn't heat up until the next morning, but that was no big deal. We came to check in at 3pm and they weren't ready until 4pm, but we were on mountain time. Everyone is so nice and friendly. The views are wonderful. We will be back!!!

Hate to see that they have closed. Don't know where we will do Jayden's birthday this year. It was so awesome last year! Skating, air town, arcade, pizza, great party room, and excellent customer service! The price came out to about $10 per person which was cheaper than any party I've thrown on my own. And even I was getting good at roller skating again after 30+ years. WE WILL TOTALLY MISS FUN WORLD and we are hoping someone will purchase and re-open before summer is over!!!!

THEY SAVED SO MANY PIPES THIS PAST WINTER! Vacant homes, foreclosures, and primary residences - this past cold winter used up the gas way faster than people thought. Heritage was right there to get their tanks filled ASAP. I know they saved the pipes on ALL of my vacant listings, Cartus relocation homes, and foreclosures! But, I refer them to my regular clients (I'm a REALTOR) and everyone is happy with them. Even if they weren't happy with the below 0 temps this past winter. :) From Samantha in the office to the guys on the delivery trucks who also check for leaks - service, kindness, and professionalism are available year-round!

I have a client (listing) that we had an agent show the house and the power was turned off and the refrigerator and freezer had begun to smell and melted food leaked out onto the floor. I called the client, she looked online and she called Pat's Cleaning Service who did agree to come out quicker than the person I had recommended could. Of course I had to get her access to the home and I had to keep waiting and couldn't get clear where to meet Pat and her husband, but finally we connected. The water was off and I went to the road to look where meters usually are and her husband found the water turn on under the house; neither of us knew the water was off. It (the smell) was truly disgusting and I don't envy someone having to clean it. Not even 15 minutes later Pat called me and said they were finished and they had left the appliance doors open. I asked if they unplugged the refrigerator (as requested by her client) so when the power comes back on the doors are just hanging open with the refrigerator running and she said she forgot but would go back out there. I had another appointment and couldn't go back right then, so I went back out a couple of days later (power is still off) and moved the refrigerator to unplug it and the smell was still terrible, and saw that the mess was still under the refrigerator. I told the client and she called Pat and then I phoned Pat. Not only would Pat repeat over and over again that she was asked to clean up the refrigerator, not the floor (from a client who is in Florida), but that her husband was the only one smart enough to turn the water on, they had to keep the stinking garbage in their garage for two days, and why didn't I clean it up when I moved the refrigerator to unplug it? I'm the Realtor, she's the cleaning person? Who talks to someone this way and stays in business? She got paid, I got nothing to ride out there THREE TIMES and finish her poor job. She said she would go back out there ONLY if I stood over her, because she wouldn't take a key, because another house I just listed her girls took all the furnishings out of and I complained to seller in Ohio and the girls had to bring one table back that she heard us discuss that it should be left there. She told me that was stupid for me to want a table to stay in an empty house so buyers could sit down; she never heard of such a thing??? And her poor girls had to bring the table back when the guy (hired to prepare the house for me to list it by the seller/owner) gave it to them and that's the truth. Even though she heard me say leave it, he gave it to them and blamed it all on me for calling the home owner in Ohio when it was missing??? She said she hires ---- but they're all trustworthy. I kept telling her that I didn't doubt that the guy told them to take it; he either didn't remember or care, but how did this turn into another attack on me from this woman???? I have in no means said she or her employees stole the table. How she has stayed in business is beyond me - I guess because we have so many new people in the area, she gets new victims. I've sold real estate here for 12 years and this is the first (and last) time I will ever deal with her. I did tell the client to send her the $65 because what she did saved the refrigerator even though what she didn't do ruined the floor.
