Torrey finally gets to visit the area she was named after. It's one of the most beautiful places too.
Torrey goes to Torrey It’s been a little over 5 years since we brought Torrey into the family. At the time, we still had the house, I still had a day job, and most of our traveling was for art … Continue reading →

Seeing things in a different way Both of the photo challenges this week got me seeing things in a different way. First, The Daily Post prompt this week is abstract. “Turn the familiar into something new and mysterious.” Hmmm, I … Continue reading →

Pretty flowers and cute dogs Since I haven’t been posting very much lately, you probably guessed there isn’t much around here to talk about, or photograph. It’s a pretty boring, non scenic place to be. Today however, my oldest son … Continue reading →

Introduction
Business

My husband Al, and I are artists. We live full time in our RV traveling to art shows, and just for fun.
Going all the beautiful places enables me to pursue my photography, and sell prints online and at art shows. My photos can be purchased at Mary Hone Photography.
Al, is a wonderful sculptor of wildlife, and Native American themed pieces. His work can be seen at Al Hone Sculpture.
I also blog about our travels with our two dogs, Roxy and Torrey. Tales from the back road is another fun way to talk about all our adventures.

Personal

We love the outdoors. Hiking, wandering, sitting beside the water. We are torn between the red rock desert as our favorite place, or the pine covered mountains.
