Virginia City, and Nevada City Montana were a photographers dream. And walking through time in all the buildings was so much fun. I love stuff like this.
Spending a day or two in Virginia City & Nevada City, Montana. So many things to see, and photograph.

After a lot of research, and reading about dog nutrition, I came up with a healthy dog food recipe that can easily be prepared in your InstantPot.

The dogs loved our last boondock spot. Wide open spaces, no people, and room to run.

The wild horses deserve to be left wild and free.
The wild horses are an amazing, and wonderful animal to observe and photograph. They must be saved for future generations.

The state of the dogs.
A Doggie Update It occurred to me the other day that I haven’t posted any updates on the pooches lately. So to remedy that, today is a doggie update day. First Torrey and the partially torn ACL. I mentioned before … Continue reading →

Small treasures in unexpected places I’m pretty sure I have mentioned before that spending time in Utah is not my favorite. I love, love being able to see my boys, and spend time with my family, but other than that….meh. … Continue reading →

Boondocking near Badlands NP There is nothing like solitude, peace, and quite. That’s why we love boondocking waaaayyyyy more than staying in an RV park. We planned a visit to the Badlands NP after leaving Sioux Falls. We wanted to … Continue reading →

Introduction
Business

My husband Al, and I are artists. We live full time in our RV traveling to art shows, and just for fun.
Going all the beautiful places enables me to pursue my photography, and sell prints online and at art shows. My photos can be purchased at Mary Hone Photography.
Al, is a wonderful sculptor of wildlife, and Native American themed pieces. His work can be seen at Al Hone Sculpture.
I also blog about our travels with our two dogs, Roxy and Torrey. Tales from the back road is another fun way to talk about all our adventures.

Personal

We love the outdoors. Hiking, wandering, sitting beside the water. We are torn between the red rock desert as our favorite place, or the pine covered mountains.
