I had reached a crossroads and MFB seemed to be my only recourse. I went in hopeful and with as open a mind as possible. The hardest pill to swallow was the focus on the pills I swallow. The doctor basically freaked me out on day 1 and nearly each time I saw him. Went back and started to read the folder they put together. Actually READ and noticed a problem immediately. #2 bullet point in bold print..."Pain relief is not our primary objective." Huh? It's the whole reason I went. PT and PSY were great, hence the 3 stars. Of you have chronic pain as I do, work with your doctor and specialists is my advice.

Really disappointed,my fiance before he was transferred they spoke with him in Metro hospital, they gave us hope we even move 6 min away from Mary free bed, they promised out patients follow up,I even told them we have to find a place for my fiance they said no problem we help in everything for the patients got so happy and he was so happy and exciting to get to Mary free bed,WRONG WRONG I really won't post names or Doctor won't be that curl more want that had been to my fiance,we even went back to them for help they told is they can't do nothing to help us,basically we in on own,now we have to go for the second time to the ER for help until we find a doctor that could treat him we been struggling since he been out knowing he had a visit from Holland for his pain meds they still discharged him it's been the worst experience in Mary free bed now hes depress, stress and upset they didn't give him the hope they had said but that's fin we will keep searching for therapy what ever he needs mean while back to the ER for anything he needs that's where they told us ,SORRY WE GOT NOTHING RO DO WITH YOU,really yall just got him worst,Therapy can't complain best team but staff and the Doctor he had sucks my fiance was sent to the ER I almost lost him,I had to call 911 while he was in Mary free bed sorry I had to start being rude, there's more to say it will take me a whole day writing, but they did wrong ,I will not even give them a star,we move to grand rapids to be close for what for all they done wow 😢😪

My son was the victim to ain a drive by shooting. He took 2 bullets in his spine...Doctors told me he probably wouldn't live and if he did his chances of ever walking was slim to none after surgery... After almost two months at Mary Free Bed .. With the help of staff and help of therapists Kristy and Daina my was walking with the help of a walker short distances and using a wheel chair. Two months later wheelchair was gone... Two months after that walker is gone... With the help of braces and s cane my son is now walking... Had it not been for the help of Mary Free Bed and its excellent staff my son would be the person he is today...
