#ChristmasCoverSongs  You know it's nearly Christmas time when Subwayband have a rehearsal solely for the Christmas ditties!!!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas Everyone - Slade
Fairytale of New York - Pogues
Santa Baby - Kylie/Ertha Kitt
I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday - Wizard

Question is should I try and persuade the boys that Real Love (penguins song) is worth learning or not??????

www.SubwayBand.co.uk for other songs that are available. :-)

My friend Mo had a birthday and invited us round for breakfast.  She made these  and we begged for the #recipe.  She just took a photo of the recipe, today I decided to make them.  Please be warned, the recipe makes too much for an average family, so at least halve the quantities.  If you are struggling with the american cup measure and want to convert then here is a handy link.  http://allrecipes.com/howto/cup-to-gram-conversions/

The #recipe for  is as follows:

1 persimmon - peeled and cubed
1 Orange - Juice only
1 desert spoon of soft brown sugar
2 desert spoons of granulated white sugar

Have all the ingredients prepared and to hand as this is very quick to make. (Confident cooks heat up a small saucepan) while you are chopping and juicing, pop both the juice and the the persimmon
cubes on a tea plate.

Put the Persimmon and orange juice in the hot pan, sprinkle over both brown and white sugar, watch it bubble for around 1 minute, stir with a metal spoon, be very careful not to splash it is very very hot.

Pour into a ramekin to server, spoon over oaty pancakes or serve with vanilla ice cream.

Enjoy :-)
