Fun Peep Experiments: Making Edible Peep Sensory Dough

I love the idea of experimenting with Peeps instead of eating them! There are a lot of fun Peep experiments out there. This edible peep sensory dough was new to us, and the kids think it is awesome!

As more and more of our world becomes automated, it is more important than ever that we raise kids who think! Raising innovators is one of the best ways to guarantee that our children will have or be capable of obtaining the skills they need to succeed in tomorrow’s world. Companies are looking for individuals who can creatively solve the problems of our 21st century world. Post includes sponsored Galileo Camps links.

How to Store Craft Supplies for Kids

I love doing crafts with my kids and I love having lots of craft supplies available for the kids to use. We don’t have a lot of storage space in our house. This method of storing craft supplies for kids is saving my sanity! The kids are crafting more than ever, but the process is much neater. No more missing scissors and vanishing pens!

Creative Nature Design Challenge for Children

Sometimes my kids just want to spend the day lying around outside. This is one of my favorite ways to get them to go outside and STAY outside.

Chapter Books for Tweens

My daughter Emma is the biggest bookworm I know. She loves to read and she is interested in blogging, so I asked her to put together a list of great books tween girls will love to share with my readers. Here are some to start you off – she kindly included some lesser-known titles to give you plenty of inspiration!

When children’s test results are tied to school funding and teacher pay levels, our schoolchildren are literally working for the school. Are we creating a white collar child workforce?

Kids LOVE to play in the sand! This simple sandbox is a snap to make, and the cover keeps animals out when it is not in use.
