#TheAmericanSide is now playing at the IFC Center in NYC, and is available on demand in the US and Canada.
Invoking fascinating conspiracy theories surrounding Nikola Tesla only to turn them into a macguffin, this neonoir detective flick ultimately disappoints.

#LouderThanBombs is now in limited release in the US, Canada, and the UK.
Yet another installment in the long-running series Dead Women Make Men Feel Things. Seething with unspoken emotions, all of which are elusive and abstruse.

#CaptainAmericaCivilWar  is now playing in the UK. It opens next Friday in the US and Canada.
Tough, unanswerable human questions frame spectacular, innovative action sequences that are like superhero ballets. This series just keeps getting better.

#RatchetAndClank  is now in cinemas in the US, Canada, and the UK.
Could have been assembled entirely from clips from other movies — mostly the Star Wars prequels — and would have been better if it had been.

#RequiemForTheAmericanDream  is on VOD in the US, Canada, and the UK.  #TheDivide  is in limited theatrical release in the UK.
This is eye-opening, consciousness-expanding, angry-making stuff. You will not be able to read the news -- or look at your paycheck, your bank balance, or your tax return -- in the same way after it.

#JaneGotAGun is new in UK cinemas today, and new on VOD in the US. I liked it a lot more than many of my critical colleagues.
A gritty woman’s perspective on tropes of the western genre, a lean action drama that is sparse yet sympathetic, and laconic but simmers with deep emotion.

The trailer makes the film look like it's a lot more about Tesla and his inventions than it is.
