It's with great sadness that I'm leaving Mozilla - it's been great working on a world-renowned product at a world class company.  At Mozilla I had the fortune to work with some amazingly talented people on some difficult things - we created a way for webapps to be installed on Android in the same way you would a normal app; I was part of a team that provided a much needed revamp of the Firefox for Android tablet interface; I was the sole dev on the Tab Queue feature; helped implement Tracking Protection and more.

I'm going to miss the people there  most - +Michael Comella +Anthony Lam +Mark Finkle +Margaret Leibovic +Sebastian Kaspari +Myk Melez +James Hugman +Emily Toop - keep rocking the free web.  You guys are awesome.

Anyone know where I can get an OEM Nexus 6 battery from in the UK?

Time for a little rant I'm afraid.

I bought a Nexus 6 when it came out and rooted it and flashed Android M so I could develop on it in prep for the release.  My Nexus 6 battery started to expand (as has happened to a LOT of people, rooted or not: https://www.google.com/search?q=nexus+6+battery+expand) and now Motorola are telling me that they won't replace the battery because I had a device that was rooted.

This is a really shitty experience for devs, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who this has happened to.  I want to develop for the newest Android release and in doing so I am now down a very expensive device.

I've looked for a replacement battery but you know what, if the official battery is that broken, there's no way in hell that I really want to put an unofficial battery in that and keep it in my house.

:(
