We check in with former NFL player Ray Lucas and director of P.A.S.T. player services Jennifer Smith to find out what's changed since season one of "Casualties of the Gridiron"—and how Will Smith's new film, "Concussion," can help bring awareness to football players suffering from devastating brain injuries.

We had an enjoyable time last night at my parents place. Initially, we wanted to see the fireworks, but as it turned out, we were tired, and went to sleep early. Oh well, I am happy that most everyone had an enjoyable time.

Happy New Year!

A TBI survivor with an interesting approach to life. Most times, people like people who are fun to be around. Wag more, bark less.
Introduction
I speak somewhat slower than the national average.  This is a result of a traumatic brain injury I sustained when I was eleven.  I am sure that I am not the best example of what a successful rehabilitation can look like, but I am passionate about providing others with opportunities to help.
I was provided with an opportunity to apply for a position at a hospital where I work, to be the social media coordinator, which I thought would be really cool.  I applied, but alas was not selected.  Working in Public Relations would have been pretty cool, but I suppose that there are other opportunities out there.  The interview process was interesting.
