Try out our new and official Android remote called "Kore". It has been designed to be a basic remote without too many bells and whistles. Although it's still work in progress in some areas, all the basic functions are there like library and playback controls. PVR functionality is missing, though it should be added in the near future. Get it from the Android Play Store.

Enjoy.
Kore is a simple, easy to use and beautiful Kodi™ / XBMC™ remote that lets ...

Since we're just a small group we could use all the help, especially C/C++ developers who want to get involved http://t.co/EXflZPbNjQ
We could use help in all areas. Currently especially on Windows we need some DirectX experts who can help us moving away from our current DirectX 9 implementation towards the newer DirectX 11
XBMC will be renamed to Kodi for v14. Read here for more details. Various pages on the wiki might contain old references to "XBMC", but will most often still apply to "Kodi". Find out how you can help here. Development. From Kodi. Jump to: navigation, search. Development: ...

We are working towards an upgrade of our DirectX implementation. This means we will move away from DirectX9 towards DirectX11 while keeping backwards compatability in some extend. The upgrade means that we will have less problems with newer videocards and drivers, being more future proof and extending possibilities for rendering of video and interface. These builds are based on our current 15.0 nightly builds so we advice to use caution while installing them. Should you wish to help us test the upgrade, feel free to visit the forum and read the additional information listed there. http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=218274
