I agree, +Martin Zwilling! It irks me when discussing great ideas and projects with nonprofits that the money angle (i.e. funding, grants, etc.) almost never comes up. Unless I mention it. I think having a business is much easier than navigating a nonprofit. I think nonprofit is a very difficult model for managing long-term sustainability. But I LOVE their work.

My passion is nurturing the development of entrepreneurs by providing first-hand mentoring, funding assistance, and business plan development.  I am the Founder and CEO of Startup Professionals, a company that provides products and services to startup founders and small business owners. 

I write a daily blog for entrepreneurs, and dispense advice on the subject of startups to a large online audience of 500,000 Twitter followers. I am also a regular contributor to Forbes, Harvard Business Review, Business Insider, and other business information sites.  My first book is titled “Do You Have What It Takes To Be An Entrepreneur?”, and I recently released a second one "Attracting an Angel."
