Twitter's been doing a lot of changing recently - trying to rejig its newsfeed and features and make the experience better for users.

Are they one the right track? The best way to find out is not to grumble about the way it was, but to try them out and decide for yourself.
We sometimes forget that technology not only disrupts media, it also disrupts itself.

And we discuss our thoughts on the Twitter 10K - not the marathon but the move to 10,000 characters.

We're obsessed with big data. I understand that.

I also think it's important to pay attention to little data - those nuggets of connections that mashup and spark a fresh idea.

My latest column in Marketing Magazine.

I'm interested to hear your thoughts.
Open up to serendipitous opportunities, it can be a PR practitioner's most valuable tool

A good reminder for people who value being creative. Put down the phone, look up and let your eyes take in the world around you. The "small data" you collect may well trigger serendipity.

We pay lots of attention to big data these days. And I'm not saying we should ignore that.

But it's important to keep our eyes and minds open to small data too. Those little, serendipitous insights that spark creativity and big ideas.
